Q, What can I expect on the day?
A. Fans will be able to fully immerse themselves in the world of Friends. FriendsFest 2019 will bring you Monica’s apartment, Joey and Chandler’s apartment complete with corridor, Central Perk, original memorabilia and recreate the titles and Ross’ apartment (formerly home to Ugly Naked Guy).
And if that wasn’t enough guests will also have the chance to recreate the iconic PIVOT! scene which was voted the nation’s favourite Friends moment by thousands of fans last year on www.comedycentral.co.uk.
Plus, visitors will be able to dress up in some of the most unforgettable outfits and don the best wigs for the ultimate selfie moments.
There will also be a whole host of other activities including new Friends themed food stalls, a cocktail bar and the ultimate Friends quiz which fans can take part in live on stage. Fans will also be able to kick back and relax in the sunshine while watching some of the best moments from the TV show they are already immersed in, Friends.
Please note: FriendsFest is a predominately outdoor event although some activities are under cover.
Q. Can I change my set tour time or booking date?
A. Unfortunately we cannot alter or cancel any bookings including set tour times. Your ticket will only be valid for the day and set tour that you have booked.
Q. How long do I need for allow for my trip to FriendsFest?
A. We recommend you allow between 2 and 2.5 hours for a typical visit to FriendsFest. Of course you can do the full experience in less time or indeed if you want to spend longer than that at the event, you are welcome. We do ask that you arrive in plenty of time to be able to find the 'Set Tour’ area, at least fifteen minutes before your allotted time slot.
Please note: The set tour experience is approximately 30 minutes long and there are lots of other things to enjoy on site - we recommend you all 2 - 2.5 hours for your overall visit.
The site closes at 8pm (Sun - Wed) and 9:30pm (Thurs - Saturday) and if you have a set tour ticket for the evening we suggest coming earlier to visit the other on site activities and completing the set tour as your final activity on site.
Q. What time can I arrive at FriendsFest?
A. You can enter the event at any time within our opening hours as the site is free flowing other than the ’Set Tour’ for which you have a timed slot pre-booked. We believe average dwell time within FriendsFest to be around 2 to 2.5 hours however you are free to spend as long as you like.
Q. Will my timeslot to the Set Tour be running on time?
A. Although we would like to confirm that all slots will run on time, there may be occasions where there are delays for various reasons. Please bear with us. We will attempt to allow you entry as close as possible to your arranged timeslot.
Q. Can I take selfies?
A. You can bring your camera and take selfies throughout FriendsFest and we will have stewards throughout to help you where possible. Please be nice to them though. This is not the stewards only responsibility and they are not professional photographers so we cannot guarantee perfect images. We would encourage visitors to enjoy the sets and performances throughout FriendsFest but cannot guarantee every visitor can experience a clean photo with no other visitors in it, at every point of the journey. Time limitations mean we will have to move visitors on if photo set ups are taking longer than appropriate.
Q: Can I bring my child?
A. Under 5s do not require an admission ticket and can attend the event under the supervision of a parent/guardian. Any child aged 5 or over requires an admission ticket for the event. All under 16's must be accompanied by a ticket holiding adult at all times.
Q. What happens if it rains?
A. The event will always go ahead in the event of bad weather. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Great British Summer. Events will only be cancelled if the weather conditions are considered dangerous. Guests accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on an event day, and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless an event is cancelled by the producers. In the unlikely event that an event is cancelled, we will aim to give as much notice as possible, so please keep an eye out for information on the website and social media.
Q. How will I receive my ticket?
A. Print at home tickets will be emailed to you after booking along with your booking confirmation. If you have not received your tickets, please contact www.seetickets.com/customerservice
Please make sure you bring your ticket (whether it’s a print at home, e-ticket on a device, or posted ticket) to the event as our staff will scan each to ensure validity. All tickets are issued through SEE tickets. If you have purchased tickets through any other third party ticket seller we cannot guarantee it's validity or guarantee entry.
Q. What if I forget my ticket?
A. Please bring your ticket along on the event day, however, if you do forget it, we have a record of all bookings, so if you provide our front of house team with your details and identification we should be able to admit you into the event.
Q. Can I bring food and drink?
A. We would prefer if you did not bring food or drinks with you to FriendsFest unless you have specific food allergies or requirements. There are a number of delicious food options available onsite as well as a fully licensed bar and coffee cart. We ask that you don’t bring any alcohol, cans or glass to FriendsFest.
Q. Are there Cash Points on site?
A. Unfortunately, there are no ATM services at Friends Fest but all food and drink areas and the official merchandise shop will take cards on the day.
Q Will there be toilet facilities at the event?
A. Yes, all our events have toilet facilities as well as accessible toilets available.
Q. Is there wheelchair access?
A. Yes, all of our sites are accessible, but please be aware that the sites are outdoor green field sites and can sometimes be rough parkland terrain. All individual sets and experiences within FriendsFest are fully accessible and car parking is near by. Please ask for assistance from any of our stewarding team if you require it. Or email us with any specific questions or requests.
Q. Can I smoke or vape at the event?
A. Smoking and the use of E-Cigarettes are not permitted on site however we do have a designated Smoking Area outside the event site. Please dispose of your butts responsibly.
Q. Can I bring a dog to the event?
A. No, dogs are not permitted at our events out of respect to other audience members. The only exception to this rule are guide dogs. We apologise for any inconvenience.
